Nick Grecian has left Gallowglass Group after more than 20 years with the company. As part of the restructuring of the business in light of the Covid-19 crisis, Nick has taken the decision to leave Gallowglass to pursue new projects.
Nick said:
“I am extremely proud of everything Gallowglass has accomplished. During my tenure, I have led our growth into new geographical markets, new sectors and introduced new services that have kept us ahead of the curve and maintained our best in class position.
Of course, we have had tough times to endure too and the management team have been exceptional in their efforts to bring the business through and, indeed, thrive. The Coronavirus is the latest of these challenges and I am relieved and delighted to leave the company in an excellent position to succeed as we come out of the other side of this.
Day to day operations of the business will remain in the very capable hands of Jon Sigsworth, in his position as Managing Director of Gallowglass Crewing. Jon has been with our business for 19 years and exemplifies the standards and quality Gallowglass are known for. Steve Kearney will continue to guide Gallowglass Health & Safety to greater things in both the UK and Middle East. Paul Grecian, our Chairman, will continue to lead the group as a whole.
Whilst I am excited to step away from managing the Group and take on new challenges, I shall retain my stake in the business and the team have my full support.”
